The Code of Ethics of the National Association of REALTORS® is a document which is universally recognized by lawyers and laymen as the measure of professionalism in the real estate industry. It does not describe the lowest common denominator of permissible behavior as do the licensing laws of the state. Instead, it outlines the highest ideals of professional performance the public, and other REALTORS®, have a right to expect from REALTORS®.
Membership
Welcome to the home of the La Porte County Association of REALTORS (LPCAR).
LPCAR represents over 200 REALTOR® members in La Porte County. We also have Affiliate Members representing banks, mortgage companies, title companies, inspection firms and other businesses.
Our members represent all aspects of real estate from residential to real estate development. Our members are also part of the Indiana Association of REALTORS® (IAR – 16,000+ members) and the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), which has more than one million members.
Our members abide by a strict code of ethics and have access to a wide variety of business services that are not available to non-REALTORS. This gives them a competitive edge in the marketplace, enabling them to provide superior services to buyers and sellers of real property.
