LPCAR Announces the 2020 REALTOR and Affiliate of the Year

The La Porte County Association of REALTORS® is proud to announce Brad Anderson of REMAX County Wide 1st, La Porte IN as the 2020 REALTOR® of the Year. The announcement and award presentation were made during the June 22nd Membership Meeting at Briar Leaf Golf Course Pavilion in La Porte. Brad currently serves as Board President for the Association.

The REALTOR® of the Year is an annual tradition recognized throughout the REALTOR® community. The recipient of REALTOR® of the Year demonstrates true REALTOR® spirit, is involved with their local, state and/or national associations, volunteers in the community, has significant business accomplishments, and lives by the REALTOR Code of Ethics. Members submit nominations for REALTOR of the Year, nominations are reviewed and a recipient is selected.

Brad will be honored at the State Association during the Fall Stakeholders Meeting in Indianapolis later this year. The Indiana Association of REALTORS holds a recognition ceremony to honor those recipients selected by the local associations throughout the State.

The Affiliate of the Year Award is given to someone that has shown great enthusiasm and leadership for the Association.

The recipient is someone that has gone above and beyond the normal role as an Affiliate member to support and promote the real estate industry and the REALTORS®, shows dedication and involvement in both the organization as well as with the local community and clients, and demonstrates knowledge in their field, high principles and high ethical standards in the conduct of real estate. They show outstanding loyalty and devotion to the advancement and success of the Association through attendance at meetings and service on committees. The award winner is selected by the membership and thus it is a great honor to be given this distinction by your peers.
